1. Acceptance and scope

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of Robot Companion AI at RobotCompanion.online, including its articles, guides, tools and contact features (collectively, the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

The Site is intended for a general audience seeking educational information about companion robots, social robotics and related technology. Additional terms presented with a particular feature may also apply to that feature.

2. Educational content and editorial independence

Robot Companion AI is an independent publication. The Site does not manufacture, sell, distribute, repair or provide warranty service for robot companions. Unless a page explicitly states otherwise, product coverage is based on official documentation, public commercial terms, research and other accessible sources rather than physical testing of every product.

Content is provided for general educational purposes. It is not medical, mental-health, legal, financial, safety-engineering or other individualized professional advice. A robot companion must not be treated as an emergency service, autonomous caregiver, medical device or substitute for qualified care unless it has been specifically approved and deployed for that purpose under appropriate professional supervision.

3. Product information and purchase decisions

Prices, promotions, specifications, availability, subscription conditions, warranties, app support and regional restrictions can change without notice. Figures on the Site are dated snapshots and may exclude tax, shipping, import duty, accessories or future service charges.

• Confirm the current price and terms directly with the manufacturer or authorized seller.
• Check whether the product, app, language, wireless service, warranty and repair path are supported in your country.
• Review privacy notices, sensor use and account requirements before bringing connected hardware into a home.
• Assess individual suitability, supervision and accessibility rather than relying on a general recommendation.

We are not a party to transactions between a reader and a manufacturer, retailer, marketplace, payment provider or service operator. Questions about orders, returns, warranties and repairs should be directed to the seller or manufacturer.

4. Accuracy, updates and corrections

We aim to publish accurate and useful information, but cannot guarantee that every page is complete, current or error-free. Products and online services can change between editorial reviews. Research findings may also be revised as stronger evidence becomes available.

We may correct, update, reorganize or remove content at any time. Visiting or purchasing through an external site is at your own risk and subject to that site’s policies.

6. Intellectual property and permitted use

Unless otherwise stated, original text, layout, branding and site-created graphics are owned by or licensed to Robot Companion AI and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Editorial reference to a brand does not imply affiliation or endorsement.

You may access and print reasonable portions of the Site for personal, non-commercial use. You may quote brief passages with clear attribution and a link to the original page where legally permitted. You may not reproduce substantial portions, republish complete articles, remove notices, sell the content, create a competing database from it or use automated extraction in a manner that burdens the Site or violates applicable law without written permission.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Interfere with the Site, hosting, security controls or other visitors.
• Attempt unauthorized access to administration, accounts, servers or data.
• Submit malware, automated spam, unlawful material or intentionally false identity information.
• Use contact features to threaten, harass, impersonate or solicit unlawfully.
• Scrape or send automated traffic at a rate that disrupts normal operation.
• Use Site content to misrepresent a product, fabricate an endorsement or provide unsafe instructions.

We may restrict access or block abusive traffic when reasonably necessary to protect the Site and its users.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Site and its content are provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Robot Companion AI disclaims warranties that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Robot Companion AI and its editor will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the Site; third-party products or services; loss of data; or a purchase decision. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.

9. Changes, severability and applicable law

We may update these Terms when the Site, advertising practices, legal requirements or services change. The revised version becomes effective when posted with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.

If a provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. These Terms are governed by laws applicable to the Site operator and your use of the Site, without removing mandatory protections that apply in your place of residence. Nothing here creates a partnership, employment, agency or joint venture between you and the Site.
